Budapest is made up from different districts, 23 districts, each with its own local government. 6 in Buda, 16 in Pest and 1 on an island between them. Each district can be associated with one or more city parts named after former towns within Budapest. The Apartment is in the IX district. Budapest's districts are numbered clockwise, in widening circles, similarly to the districts of Paris.

Budapest's transport infrastructure is among the best in Europe. As well as an extensive network of bus, trolleybus and tram routes, the city also has a fast, modern metro system with three lines.
With transport like that in a small city means your never to far away from anything in the city. All you have do do is learn how to get about.
